Objective: Empowering Arabic-speaking newcomer refugee women in Toronto, Ontario, by providing them with the necessary resources, support, and opportunities to build a better future for themselves and their families.

Program Overview: The Rise Together program is a comprehensive, multi-faceted initiative designed to support and empower Arabic-speaking newcomer refugee women in Toronto. The program offers various resources, workshops, and community-building activities to facilitate the women's integration into Canadian society, promote their self-sufficiency, and encourage personal and professional growth.

Program Components:

Language and Cultural Education:

English language classes tailored to the needs of Arabic-speaking newcomer women.
Arabic-English conversation partners to practice language skills and build cross-cultural understanding.
Workshops on Canadian culture, customs, and social norms to aid integration.

Employment and Skills Development:

Career counseling and job search support, including resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, and networking strategies.
Vocational training and skills development workshops in areas such as computer literacy, customer service, and entrepreneurship.
Partnership with local businesses and organizations to create job and internship opportunities for program participants.

Health and Wellness:
